Our baby girl is growing up so fast and changing so quickly - we wanted to capture all we could in pictures so we can look back at any time and reminisce. Wow!!! The photos brought tears to our eyes. Warm, natural, happy .... all we wanted and more. The actual day was relaxed, memorable and fun. By the time Larissa left we felt like we'd known her for years. She has been fabulous from start to finish and always very helpful and accommodating - going that extra mile whenever needed. Our daughter was teething badly on the day, so there were many, many tears. Despite this, Larissa was patient and calming and stayed on much longer to give us the extra time we needed to console her. Thank you!!!

Larissa did a shoot of myself and my son at our local soft play and I loved the natural shots she took. We were delighted with both the informal, unintrusive shoot and the quality of the photographs. We ended up with 7 beautiful prints of our son at an excellent price - great value for money.
In fact, we preferred Larissa's photos to some that we had taken last year at 10 times the price. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to friends and will definitely book again in the future.

Larissa photographed my three girls back in November. I am not a fan of 'traditional' white background studio photo shoots, so it made a refreshing change to be able to get out and photograph the girls having fun. The results were wonderful and Larissa's rates were very reasonable. I hope Larissa can photograph my girls again soon.

My name is Larissa and I love being a photographer. My background is in illustration and I studied at Norwich School of Art & Design. After graduating I followed a career in illustration and then after the birth of my daughter I created Giggleicious, making baby gifts & clothing. I absolutely loved taking photographs of my daughter and her friends and so Giggleicious Photography was born. I incorporate my love of photography with my love of illustration to create something that extra special. It's a lot more than just point & click for me.

I am based in Monmouthshire and after moving here a couple of years ago, know that I am blessed to be amongst some of the best countryside in the British Isles! To be able to be walking in the most beautiful woodland within 10 minutes of the house is wonderful.

At Giggleicious Photography I make the best use possible of all that there is to offer in our wonderful countryside. My style of photography is natural and spontaneous and I aim to provide you with beautiful photographs for you and your family. Rather than the photographs be posed in a studio with white backgrounds I can travel to your home, the park, woods or your favourite 'spot'. For each session you get my personalised attention at a location of your choice, or one carefully chosen for you. You can choose a time that best suits you and your family that leaves you free to relax, enjoy yourselves and have fun so we can get the best photographs possible.

How I work -
Many photographers simply take photographs. They may take very good photographs but that is where their relationship with the image stops.
With my background in illustration I simply cannot help but involve that part of me in my photography. Sometimes my involvement in an image is very gentle, which itself can be lot of work. Sometimes my involvement in the outcome of an image is a lot more obvious. Either way, with Giggleicious Photography you get a lot more than a simple photo shoot. Each image is considered and worked on before it is sent to you. It maybe something as simple as removing a babies milk spot or creating a wonderfully colourful image that reflects the colour and joy in a child's laugh.

It’s not just my style of editing that is different. My view on taking the photographs is different too. I much prefer to let children be children. For parents to be spontaneous and playful. For people to be themselves. I will happily take ‘posed’ photographs, though it is possible for a photograph to be posed and spontane-ous at the same time. So you won’t get too much ‘direction’ from me, just little prompts and suggestions where needed. I won’t get annoyed with children who won’t sit still, I’ll be patient when a two year old is tired and hungry and fed up and I will wait for a reluctant teenager to loosen up enough to get ‘the shot’ from 6 metres away. And I will always see the beauty in every person I photograph because there is always beauty to be found.
